As most of you may have heard this afternoon the Province of Ontario has increased the number of restrictions in our battle with COVID-19. One of these new restrictions is to close outdoor recreational facilities.
So with that order and out of an abundance of caution for the safety and health of all our members, we will be closing our courts after our last session this evening April 16, 2021.
We understand that everyone is disappointed but we will be there and ready to go once we are allowed to play again.
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels. Rules for pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport. It can also be quite the challenging, fast-paced, and competitive game when people become more experienced at playing.
